Late to this answer, but... Your husband needs to increase his testosterone. You can try over the counter stuff at first to see if it works. Viagra won't force an erection for any man who "doesn't want it." Viagra and testosterone are both needed.
Try taking it a few hours earlier, it doesn't work that fast. If you have a script on file from your Dr and it's due for refill (and he/she agave you refills) yes, you should be able to. Insurance doesn't usually cover this med anyway. Hope this helps.
A dr isn't going to prescribe it like that if he doesn't know your husband. He should try taking the pill a little bit longer before he needs it, and when he's not sleepy. It doesn't always work for everyone. Sometimes it takes a switch to a different one. The best thing for him to do would be see a urologist, but I understand if you don't have insurance. Are you aware that we are all supposed to be insured now? If not we face a fine.
