Experiment with different sleeping positions, and make sure that you are not putting any weight on your arms or hands. If you are a side sleeper, try what I do: lie on your side (left preferred) with a shallow pillow tucked between your knees; stretch both arms out in front of you, or one arm out and one arm tucked up to the body. Never place your hand beneath your pillow when side sleeping and never place your body weight on your arm, just your shoulder. Make sure that your pillow is thick and supportive enough that your neck is supported, and that your full weight is not on your shoulder. If you are a back sleeper, make sure that you use a good neck support pillow, lay your arms parallel to the sides of your body propped up on flat pillows from armpit to fingertip.
