The duration of treatment would depend on the patient and severity of disease, but Forteo should not be used for longer than 2 years unless your doctor tells you to.
i was told that results can be seen within 4 months but this is not typical. i plan on asking for a bone density test after 1 year but was told that 2 years for any changes is typical.
