My wife stopped a few days ago and is still experiencing restlessness and

How long can side effects last after stopping reglan?

How is your wife now? Were there permanent issues? I'm suffering from debilitating anxiety over a month after being given reglan IV. I had an immediate anxiety attack and have suffered ever since. Just looking for answers

I was given IV of reglan July 17, 2018. Extreme anxiety and many other issues. Still 3 months later experiencing anxiety etc. How long did it last for you? Please respond, I feel hopeless.

Hi,
What your wife is experiencing are withdrwals symptoms from stopping the meds. They are also listed as side effects. ..but in this case I would have to say withdrawal.
You need to contact your Doc and ask, we are all different for me It can last 1 week for others 2... etc.
Did she stop from one day to the next (cold turkey), or did she decreased her intake bit by bit?
Did her Doc say she had to stop talking it or was it her desicion?

You may still have side effects after stopping REGLAN. You may have symptoms from stopping (withdrawal) REGLAN such as headaches, and feeling dizzy or nervous.
Tell your doctor about any side effects that bother you or do not go away. These are not all the possible side effects of REGLAN.
