Well common sense tells me that the expiring date is there to notify you of when the pills are no longer safe to use, but since your talking about anti-flammatory pills that are nonsteroidal I would give them a month of leniency time.
I would suggest that you discard the pills once they expire as manufacturers do not guarantee the quality or efficacy of pills past their expiry date.
