I have been taking atorvastatin for 6 months and would like some feedback on side effects and how they affected anyone since they have been taking it. I keep going to the doctor and complaining of all these problems and they have never said anything about this drug and the harm it seems to cause a lot of people. I basically feel like a zombie, no energy I hurt all the time and have been to the ER a half dozen times because of chest pain and discomfort as I had open heart surgery and then had 3 stents because 3 of my grafts failed so any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
How does everyone feel about taking atorvastatin?

I've been on it for 10 years now trouble. It's probably keeping you alive. Talk to your doctor. It controls cholesterol but also minimizes inflammation in your vascular system and blood vessels in your brain. I'm only suggesting you talk to your cardiologist before stopping.
