Bactroban (mupirocin) is an antibiotic that treats or prevents infection that is caused by bacteria. It is used to prevent severe staph infections.
Santyl Ointment is used for removing dead skin from wounds and burned areas. It is an enzymatic debriding ointment. It works by breaking down dead skin.
They would work well together to clear the infection and the area of dead cells.
