As far as effexor, this is one of the anti depressants that effects orgasms more then others. Please discuss this with your doctor. There are solutions to this. As one member mentioned, skip a day of the effexor, make a romantic evening of it and resume taking the effexor the next day. This may be a short term solution and it's always best to consult with your prescribing doc. It's one of the leading side effects of this medication so I'm sure he has a possible solution to this.

yes, thats sounds great, but alot of people say if u skip a dose, will have terrible side effects.

I just had the same question. It's called a"drug holiday", but yes those side effects hit fast. My Dr. prescribed Wellbutrin to help with my libido. I can't say that it helps much.

I've been on Effexor off and on for years. My advice is that you should never skip a dose! I've taken both the rapid release and the extended release capsules. In both cases, if I don't take it on time, I get nauseous and can't finction.
