My TSH results show normal, but my T4 shows to be too high, 10-24 . What does that mean?
What does high T4 levels mean?

The T4 is the main thyroid hormone. If the TSH is normal and the T4 is high, it can indicate certain things with your thyroid. The first being hyperthryoid. Other tests have to be done tho, just those tests aren't diagnostic and you need further testing.
Thank you so much, you have helped me so much. I have been suffering with feelings of anxiety and palpitations, and keep going back to the doctor until he did another blood test, I am now on a lower dose of levolthyroxine which I have been taking for a week, so it's early days. But two nurses seem to think that I was on the right medication in the first place and imply that I am suffering with my nerves and nothing to do with thyroid. Thought I was going nuts until you responded to my question. Thanks
