Answers
Hi, wendy!
The maximum recommended dose is 20mg/day but much higher dosages have been prescribed in some cases and have been studied up to 50mg/day.
Nonetheless, you may not be able to tolerate these higher doses and you could potentially experience convulsions, dizziness, insomnia, nausea, and vomiting. If you've already taken it without these symptoms you should be fine if you go back to your regular dose but if this is something you're considering doing on your own you may be playing with fire.
