Can anyone tell me if they have any experience with taking valdoxan?
My doc added it to seroquel 300mg and xanax for severe anxiety and panic attacks,has anyone any comments good or bad with this med? The seroquel was making my anxiety worse and keeping me awake instead of putting me to sleep. He said this med would work,just wanted any feedback from anyone who knows or heard of this med??

I would also like to find out more about experiences while on Valdoxan. I am on it now, and cant say I am feeling any better. was on it with Prozac for two weeks while weaning off Cymbalta. Now its Valdoxan 25 mg only - I still feel empty. Waiting for the doc to get back to me.

Hi its puckiemull,
I came off valdoxan in oct,i felt like you do now-empty and just felt it was doing nothing for me. My doc had increased it to 50mg,but still no change,it was surprisingly easy to come off of,i was currently on seroquel also and tapered off that aswel.
I am now without either and feel no different,i had tried many anti d's and none of them worked for me. I am taking xanax for anxiety,but so far so good as far as off anti d's are concerned. I'm not suggesting you to do as i did in coming off them altogether,but definitely tell your doc the valdoxan is not working for you,in my opnion it is useless,but others may differ,that is just my experience with it..

Thanks so much. I am seeing the doctor tomorrow. I do get anxiety in the mornings and the Valdoxan has not helped that either.

Suggest to your doctor that you want to try something else,there are lots of meds out there,its just to try find the right one that will suit you!!
I wish you all the best and hope you find something to suit you soon,anxiety is horrible but you will find something that will help you,it just takes time.

THanks! Stopping the Valdoxan as it clearly isn't working. Now trying Prohexal. Prozac, basically. Let's see how this goes.. all the best to you too.

Glad your doc has listened to you,i wish you luck with the prozac,i was on that too at one time and found it great for a while.
