Soo, I've been taking Doxycycline 50 MG Capsules for the past 3 days, every night. Haven't really noticed any dramatic changes yet. (obviously because it takes at least a week for major changes.) Anyway, I just noticed that it says use by: 7/09. Is it okay to keep using it even though it's just a couple months expired? -Thanks

First and foremost all the antibiotics prescribed for you should be taken in order to assure full treatment and if these are left over do you have a full course of treatment left. It may also not be the antibiotic of choice for the medical problem that you are trying to treat. I would suggest calling your Doctor. Good Luck
Well ideally medicines are not to be used past their expiry dates as the manufacturer can't guarantee the efficacy or quality of the medicine.
I suppose you are using doxycycline which was left over from a previous course. This is not a good idea. Every infection is different and for this infection doxycycline might not be the most appropriate antibiotic. I recommend please see your doctor.
