Can you compare and contrast them for me? I want to try Nuvigil, but I'd like to hear how it stacks up against Provigil before I ask for it.
Has Anyone Taken Both Provigil and Nuvigil?

I haven't taken the meds
Provigil is a prescription medicine used to help people stay awake. Specifically, it is approved to treat people with excessive sleepiness due to the following:
*Narcolepsy
*Sleep apnea (known medically as obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome or OSAHS)
*Shift work sleep disorder (SWSD), a problem in people who work night shifts or who frequently change between day and night work shifts.
Nuvigil is a prescription medication used to help people stay awake and alert. More specifically, the drug is approved to treat people with excessive sleepiness due to the following sleep disorders:
*Sleep apnea (known medically as obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome or OSAHS)
*Narcolepsy
*Shift work sleep disorder (SWSD), a problem in people who work night shifts or who frequently change between day and night work shifts.
Don't really find any difference, Nuvigil helps in staying awake & alert, however, would recommend that you do also speak to a doc/pharmacist for more accurate info.
Take care, be well, please, best wishes!
