How good is Lamictal for generalized anxiety disorder with a little bit of depression?

Hi, wilder!
I was originally prescribed the generic lamotrigine for Bipolar ll with mainly depressive episodes but after several weeks I realized that my anxiety disorders were also subsiding. I tolerate it very well with no side effects at 300mg/day and I've been taking it for almost 4 years now. It's also great for controlling my depression and mood swings.
As with all medications it isn't going to work for everyone but for those who it benefits it works extremely well. It gets a big thumbs up from me and I think that you might want to give it a try.
