Geritol - I'm in A A will the 12% alcohol effect my sobriety. Will it trigger my allergy?

My grandfather used it to get off drinking alcohol and it worked for him. But my mom's Doctor Michael Welch at (White River Family Care) in Buckley, WA said the 12% alcohol is used as a base to preservative for the vitamins.

I've been sober for 41 years in AA and I would not take a chance. It had as much alcohol as wine.

As a substitute take powder Brewers yeast in water or Juice

I agree, i wouldn't take the risk. You have to be so careful. I am also in recovery so i am getting used to what to look out for. I used to take Nightnurse as & when needed, but even that little alcohol content (2%) put me off

I wouldn't chance it. There are plenty of other vitamin pills. You have to watch cough medicine too.
