Is genetic Parnate as effective as the brand name. Are there generic versions of Parnate that can be compared as to their effectiveness?

I only take the brand name. Generic doesn’t seem as effective and often gives me headaches. Much more costly, but worth it.
Hi, Carl!
Generics are the same as the brand name except that the inert ingredients (binders, fillers, coloring agents, etc.) may differ from the brand and from each other. Some believe that these ingredients may, in some cases, slow or increase the absorption rate of the drug itself.
Usually with generics it's a trial and error to find the one that works best for you. It's easy enough to find out the ingredients in Parnate and your pharmacist may be able to determine the make-up of the generics or contact the manufacturer of the product for the information.
Personally, all my medications are generics and they all work the same as the brand and other generics.
