I had cervical spinal fusion on Monday and was of course put under. Since then I noticed a weird smell when I sweat and no matter how much I was or deodorant I use I still smell. Is this normal?
Does general anesteshia cause a smell after surgery?

I underwent a cervical fusion and discectomy a week ago and noticed I am sweating alot and it does have a funny smell? I too am wondering if this is normal?
Sometimes this can be very normal until it completely gets out of your system depending on what they used. My son just had surgery on his shoulder & they used propanol along with another drug, & he also is having this problem. He says he can still taste it. He had a reaction to it also, of making him very sick. This should go away soon. Hope you are doing well...
