I have been on 10mg of Lexapro for about 2 years now, I just recently have felt the positive effects diminishing and I dont really want to go to 20mg. Has anyone tried using GABA or other natural vitamins with Lexapro? is there any contraindications? Someone did post something about this awhile back but I cannot find it.

The Gaba shouldn't cause any problems with the Lexapro.
I also take L-Theanine as needed for anxiety. 200mg gives me a "calm" feeling within 45 minutes (if I still feel any anxiety after 45 minutes, I take one more 200mg).
I just recently have tried Gaba for anxiety/fear related to agoraphobia. I find myself also taking the L-Theanine with the Gaba because I know I can count on L-Theanine for the anxiety side of things.
florence; do not take the Gaba with Lexapro until you talk with your doctor they have been having problems with the GABA working the same from batch to batch the last I heard so please no natural medications unless the doctor says it is ok. Sorry BUT that is hard. By the way, I see you have been taken this for 2 years make sure you are taking it as close to the same time each day. good luck
