Yes there is a possibility that it can help with anxiety, Here is a study
Kaylashay; Just backing up your first answer NO. it does not and if it is not prescribed for you by a doctor do not take it not only do you lose excess water and water that may not be excess you also loose many good chemicals in your body such as potassium, your blood pressure could drop dangerously low and on and on so if it is not yours don't use it. good luck and thanks for checking better to be safe than sorry.
I doubt it. This is the generic for Lasix, a diuretic. Ir works by reducing the excess fluid in your body. If you are anxious because you have excess fluid you might feel better when the fluid is gone, that is mainly what this med is for. You should check with your doctor and tell him/her that you are experiencing anxiety. Most likely, they will prescribe something for you. Be careful with this med you mentioned as taking it if you do not need it could cause dehydration. Best wishes, Chelle
