I live in Dallas ,TX and my wife has been looking for a pain management doctor for the last 10 years and can't find one that accepts Superior Medicaid. Even her primary doctor can't find one for her. Please if you know of a reason or if you do know a doctor that takes Superior Medicaid?
Why can't I find a pain management doctor that accepts Medicaid?

Hi Dan
I agree it's very frustrating when you can't find a specialist who will take your insurance.
Because your wife has been searching for a pain specialist for 10+ years, I would advise you to contact the closest hospitals in your area. Explain to them that you have been looking for a pain specialist for 10 years and ask them if they could suggest or refer you to a doctor who specializes in your wife's medical conditions.
Most hospitals will have a list of their physicians, whether or not they're taking new patients and the insurances they accept.
If the hospitals cannot give you a direct referral to a pain specialist you may choose to find a Physiatrist.
Physiatrist's are trained physicians who specialize in physical medicine & rehabilitation. They're well-versed in medical conditions that affect the brain, spinial cord, muscles, ligaments, bones etc.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Best regards
