I discontinued Fetzima a month ago because the sweating was so extreme. Nothing has changed. The extreme sweating has continued. What did this drug do to my system?

What mg of Fetzima do you take? I take 120 mg of Fetzima and for 9 years..and although it does help with depression, I had a mixup last year 2022 where the pharmacy was suppose to refill my 120 mg and refilled it instead for 80 mg, and the bottles look almost identical and after 3 or 4 days of taking the 80 mg instead of 120 mg I started having sweating, crying spells, suicidal thoughts and ideations, nightmares, and involuntary muscle spasms in my legs and stomach, weight loss and other withdrawals. I am wanting to come off Fetzima and depression medication all together. Because it’s not a tablet you can’t cut it, since it’s a capsule it is filled with hundreds of tiny white balls. If I had known 9 years ago what side effects this medication does to your body I never would have started it!!
Hi Leizag. Not only is extreme sweating a side effect from Fetzima it is also a symptom from withdrawal or discontinuation syndrome. These drugs are poison (imo) and I will never take another one. I can't wait to be off it. How did you go off this medication? I have been tapering off at 10% every 10-14 days and I'm down from 60 mg to 20 mg. The extreme sweating is almost gone now; but I still need a fan on me at all times.
