I began taking Premarin .03mg about a year or so ago. I did not know a side affect is loss of hair from the scalp. I am 80 years old and would like to stop now. I have lost a great deal of hair.
What can I expect as a side affect when I stop taking Premarin?

I was on Premarin for 20 years and I got breast cancer in my breast ducts from it. Which feeds from estrogen. I only wish I was told this was the side effects.

There are no side effects of stopping hormone replacement, its not a drug that causes dependence. Its possible you may have some of the symptoms you had when you started it, but that's all you'd have.
