Hi- Dr David Burns says 2-4 weeks to start to work and as many as ten weeks to reach full therapeutic effect. But you may notice improvement sooner. But my doc says three months for full therapeutic effect.
In other words you should keep feeling benefits beyond the first few weeks into next few months. Hope that helps.
There are several different things that helped me.
methyl folate called methyl pro was really helpful. You get it online.
Vitamin d daily helps.
Fish oil
Diet is important. A book called the good mood diet is helpful.
Also a green drink with a couple handfuls of spinach and blueberries. Put it in a nutribullet. It really helps me feel better. Works like a mild antidepressant.
Hope you feel better.
Thanks. The roller coaster of emotions can be draining having good days than bad days. I will give it time. It’s only been 2 1/2 weeks since my dosage increase from 10mg to 15mg. Here’s to waiting. My wife did say she noticed some changes in my for the better
