As far as the interaction checker and the literature from Drugs.com there are no interactions with any specific foods and Drugs.com does not state to avoid any type of food.

What should I avoid while taking Eliquis?
Avoid activities that may increase your risk of bleeding or injury. Use extra care to prevent bleeding while shaving or brushing your teeth.
Avoid medications that can increase your risk of bleeding, such as aspirin or NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)- ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), naproxen (Aleve), diclofenac, indomethacin, meloxicam, and others.
