Drinking alcohol with duloxetine can increase the risk of liver damage.

Hi Home,
I don't think I can come up with one prescription drug that will give it's approval to drinking alcohol.
Think of the ways a drug is excreted from a body. Very common organs are the liver and kidneys.
Both of these organs are affected with alcohol consumption. They have to work harder. There is wear and tear going on.
If you are young you have the opportunity to protect your body for a better quality of life later when you need all the help you can get! Lol...
Ask your doc because he knows your body and state of health.
One reason for non-compliance to meds is that it interferes with a patient’s lifestyle.
Therefore it may be worth asking.
Be well...
