Opioids are one good example of drugs that can be detected in sweat and saliva. THC is another (along with many illicit drugs). I believe benzodiazepines can be detected in sweat and saliva as well. Sweat and saliva can be sources to test for illicit drug use but it is not as common as using urine to screen for drug use. The advantage to using saliva to test for illicit drug use is that a sample can be obtained in plain sight so there is less chance of tampering like adulterated specimens, fake urine and anothers urine which are common ways people try to beat urine drug testng. Saliva can be taken in semiprivacy, unlike urine, and the collector can be certain the specimen was indeed the donators. It is the same for sweat, although sweat is less commonly used than saliva.
The short answer is yes, the real answer is that it is complicated.
Most drugs are metabolized in the bloodstream and do not get excreted in sweat and saliva, but there are some that do.
It is similar to the issue with breast feeding. Some drugs get into breast milk and some do not. Doctors know, or should know, which do what and caution their nursing patients.
For the rest of us (men and non-pregnent women) you have to look at each specific drug to get an answer about sweat and saliva. In all cases the amount of a drug in sweat and saliva is tremendously small and would not transfer a dose of any significance to another person.
Urine is another thing altogether, as that is plain gross. Most drugs are secreted in urine, but getting that in someone else is more than what I want to think about.
Without specific drugs to research, that is the best that I can do.
Let me know how I can help further.

So holding hands with someone that takes suboxone would not transfer a dose amount into my system through sweat?
Yes, most drugs can be excreted through sweat and saliva.
