Do you mean UA? A UA just stands for a urinalysis. With UA they are looking at the make up of the urine-things like specific gravity, ketones, blood cells, presence or absense of albumin, pus, crystals, along with a microscopic analysis of the sediment for abnormal things like casts, and erythrocytes. A UDS is a urine drug screen but I have heard some people mistakenly say that this is a UA but that is false info. UDS looks for drugs of potential abuse, both legal and illegal, and their metabolites in the urine to confirm the use of a drug.
