Does Gabapentin raise blood sugar?

My wife is type 2 diabetic and takes gabapentin for years and it does not raise her blood sugar.
Gabapentin has not been reported to raise blood sugar, however it would be best to consult a pharmacist/doc who would have prescribed the med.
