Hi, Kye! Quetiapine hemifumarate is designed for research and development projects in laboratories and has a very slightly different molecular structure from quetiapine fumarate,
which is the human medicinal quality drug which has been FDA tested for safety and efficacy.
No, they shouldn't be mixed and quetiapine hemifumarate shouldn't be taken internally.
Omg, looking at med box's now, quetiapine 200mg (as quetiapine hemifumarate) also same for 25mg
Other boxes quetiapine 200mg (as quetiapine fumararate) also same for 25mg all by mouth. Should I see my doctor?
Just call to double check with your doctor or pharmacist to be sure. If the hemifumarate was prescribed and dispensed as medicinal quality it likely is. Don't panic! I'm sure it's approved.
