the label on the package says
Diltiazem CD 150mg
Can you please explain the difference ?

Let me tell you, this is a real conundrum. One absorbs more rapidly, but isn't in the blood as long as the other. In practice, its probably not enough of a real difference to worry about. The CD is in the blood stream faster by the way. I would make sure the order says what the label on the pills supplied from the pharmacy.
