Hi Tricia, the main difference is their chemical structure, both have a similar structure to human adrenaline but adderall (d/l amphetamine; d & l are mirror images of each other) has uses in human behaviour modification whereas phentermine seems to be almost exclusively an appetite suppressant and designed for short term use only.
