On my third month of starting Pylera antibiotics , more precisely right after taking three combination of antibiotics for my H Pylera infections ( since the first round of antibiotics didn't work ). I started to have insomnia and sudden weight lose followed by immensely sadness. And changes in menstruation and continuously low mood and low energy. Now it's been six months . I still feel the same. Although there is little improvement in my sleep. What should I do ?
Ps: I can't find a any reason behind this depressed mood . As nothing changed in my life. It was as good as before.

Hi, 3473! Pylera contains a combination of bismuth subcitrate potassium, metronidazole, and tetracycline. Although rare, your side effects could possibly be attributed to this medication(s):
"Common (1% to 10% of users): Insomnia Frequency not reported: Nervousness Metronidazole: Frequency not reported: Confusion, depression, insomnia, irritability" "Common (1% to 10% of users): Anorexia Metronidazole: Frequency not reported: Anorexia Tetracycline: Frequency not reported: Anorexia"
Have you reported this to your doctor? Three months is a long time for this to persist. Hope this helps with some of your concerns.
