I am down to 50 beads in my 20mg capsule. I have noticed when I take my dose in the morning about 2 hours later I develop nausea, headache, tinnitus and anxiety. Then about 8 hours later things settle back down until the following morning when I take the next dose. Is this withdrawal or drug causing it. Feels like the start up effects of the drug.

These could be withdrawal symptoms, especially if you are tapering too fast. For many people these can be side effects of Cymbalta. I was on it for years and I had many side effects, including nausea and anxiety. When I found out all my problems were from Cymbalta I tapered off slowly and every side effect is gone now. Many doctors do not realize how slow the taper needs to be to get this off this medication safely.
How long have you been taking the medication?
I have been on it for almost six weeks

Please contact your doctor ASAP. Side effects are usually mild and should subside within a few days to a week. 6 weeks is too long, you maybe having a bad reaction to the medication. Can you please contact your health care provider today?
I was having bad side effects from med that’s why doc told me to just stop taking it, but I was afraid of the withdrawal so I started opening capsules and removing beads. Capsule had approximately 112 beads and I have tapered down to 40 beads in my dose.
If your doctor have instructed to stop taking Cymbalta due to potential side effects. He/she should always recommend a tapering to help you decrease the dose to prevent withdrawal symptoms. You should not be doing it yourself. This situation is urgent. Please call, okay?
Sorta hard to tell... you should talk to your physician about this now.
