I had trouble with restless leg syndrome after I was on fluoxetine for several years. It got so bad, I decided to stop the fluoxetine (and boy, was that hard!!! ) After trying citalopram (good for depression but not anxiety) and bupropion (ineffective for depression and anxiety) without success, my pcp has decided to try me on Cymbalta. No matter when I take it, it is causing RLS. Has anyone else had trouble with it like this?
Cymbalta (duloxetine) and Restless Leg Syndrome?

Cymbalta caused me to have horrendous restless legs
I have RLS too. I don't know what causes it, but I've been on generic Cymbalta for 10 years. So that could be the cause. However the Cymbalta is so helpful for my pain that I wouldn't cease to use it.
Two things help me with the RLS:
1 - I will get up and go outside and do a little walking. Last night I did it inside tho. But walking for just 3 or 4 minutes seems to calm things down considerably.
2 - I also take 300mg of gabapentin twice a day and that seems to be the key because when I forget my evening dose I seem to get the RLS to the point that I will have to walk.
Hope this helps!!
