With all due respect I imagine you can eat. I have problems myself with some pills. The coated pills do not stick and stop going down, the capsules slide fairly well once wet with saliva. The dry pills have a powdery surface and are a problem. What I do is apply a light coat of slippery food (butter) and chase it down with a large mouthful of water. The pharmacist has a better idea, I'm sure.
