This from the Web referenced to Warfarin. "In general, an interaction between warfarin and cranberry products is NOT expected. What we advise, as with everything, is moderation--have a glass, not a gallon of cranberry juice.
Moderation is the key!! I am on Rivarozaban (Xarelto) 20mg. I take a tumbler (24oz=3 Cups liq) and divided 1/3rds of Cranberry juice, Orange juice, and Coconut water mixed. Yummy. Of course this is maybe 1-3 times a week in the summer. Moderation.
Here are some common foods they say interact with Xarelto. Garlic, ginger, and grapefruit juice. I would say to try the cranberry juice at 8oz. for a few days checking your stool for any sign of blood conditions. Moderation is the key!
The best way I see to use this medication, is take it with the dinner meal, and take it about 1/2 way through your dinner meal, so it is absorbed slower and passed out of the stomach faster.
Seeing as you have a concern, probably a specific amount of cranberry juice you want to take, best to call your doctor or nurse for a quick question on it. What may work for me, may not work for you, and there are other body organs to be concerned with as well at our golden age.
