I found that one pill a day is getting me everything I've been needing to stop emotionally eating and it's also giving me an energy boost. The only bad side effect I've had is just a little bloating and a slight headache occasionally but not really even worth mentioning. I've been wayy more productive because I don't have any desire to eat and I have an energy boost.my doctor started me with a month supply directing I gradually increase from one pill daily to four over the next few weeks. Im worried that by increasing the dosage it'll cause the medication to be problematic and it's already been performing perfectly so is it really necessary to increase the dosage gradually or can I just stay at one pill a day? I've always believed, "if it ain't broke don't fix it" but I don't want to cause myself any harm potentially by not taking as directed...
Contrave - Is it absolutely necessary to increase the dosage gradually?

Hi, Donn!
The ideal dosage is the lowest dose that controls your symptoms effectively. If your medication is working for you I don't see why you need to increase it. You always can if you need to in the future.
Don't change your prescribed dosage schedule on your own though... let your doctor know that you're happy where you're at and get their professional advice.
