Colestipol is used in the treatment of hyperlipoproteinemia type iia, elevated ldl; hyperlipoproteinemia; hyperlipoproteinemia type iib, elevated ldl vldl and belongs to the drug class bile acid sequestrants.
Welchol is used in the treatment of diabetes, type 2; high cholesterol; diarrhea, chronic; hyperlipoproteinemia type iia, elevated ldl; hyperlipoproteinemia and belongs to the drug class bile acid sequestrants.
