My dr. prescribed me clindamycin phosphate topical but the pharmacist advised me not to take it because it may lower the effectiveness of the birth control. I am aware of the drug interactions with an oral antibiotic but there is not much information about topical forms.
Why did my Dr. prescribe me this knowing I'm on Microgestin?
