I have smoked for 48 years and recently started smoking roll-ups with increasing frequency.
I really have to stop. I am rather afraid to try Champix due to taking psychiatric meds. Today I am vaping only. Is it ok to vape whilst starting on Champix? Thank you.
Can Champix be used in conjunction with psychiatric medication?

I am currently taking Champix and honestly it works. The pharmacist will go through your psychiatric records and meds with you and discuss the side effects etc. The leaflet that comes with the Champix does list depression and suicidal thoughts as a side effect. I have a mental health condition and am on meds, I have felt no deterioration. In fact being able to stop smoking has helped me feel more positive and in control of something. We can only take one step at a time. And with the right support I am sure you will be able to do this.
I am struggling with the common side effects like nausea, lethargy, bit like a hangover. But it's worth it. Just looking at the cigarette packet now makes me feel sick and walk away. Good luck
