Hello Eberts. Yes it is possible and has proven to test positive for amphetamine. The reason is a chemical reaction between your body's own metabolism, and the drug. The why is unknown. It simply just happens. There are several drugs that belong in the same area. SSRI"s have been known to test positive to amphetamine. Zoloft as well as Prozac. Regards pledge
