I read that Celebrex more specifically targets COX 2 inhibitors, thus possibly resulting in less irritation of the stomach and intestines. Do you think this is true? I have diverticulitis. Thanks! New member here.
Is Celebrex the easiest on your digestive system?

Celebrex, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication. Check with your physician first, regarding treatment for your intestines, and the benefits this medication can be for it. Can I share something, when I have stomach/digestive pain, I drink a mixture of pineapples and cranberry mixed/blend together. What this juice does, is clean your stomach/digestion; like a vacuum.
Give it a try, if it works, let drug.com know about it. Remember, check with your physician about taking this medication (Celebrex) for your diverticulitis

I'm asking if Celebrex is the least problematic NSAID as far as the digestive system goes. I'm not taking it to treat my digestive system. What has been your experience with Celebrex and stomach or bowel irritation and how many NSAIDs have you used in order to make a judgement? Thanks for the juice tip.
