Nystatin is an antifungal medication.
Ringworm, also called tinea, is a skin infection caused by fungi.
Nystatin can be used to treat ringworm. Use it until the ringworm clears and for another 2 weeks after that.

If that is what you have then you can use it, but, lamisil or tolfonate is what the doctor told me to use. The tolfanate seemed to heal it quicker than the lamisil. It takes a few weeks to get rid of it and is highly contagious. Make sure you wash your hands really well after you treat the area.
