I recently had gastric bypass surgery and am not sure how much wellbutrin my body is absorbing. Someone recommended going to a compounding pharmacy to get the drug in another form. Is this possible?
Can Wellbutrin be compounded into a transdermal patch or liquid form?

You can do this with some drugs but not all drugs. You would have to talk to you pharmacy to find out if it could be done. Then you would have to get a prescription from your Dr to get it donein that particuliar form. I had a gastic bypass 10 yrs ago & have not had absorption problems with Wellbutin. Hope that is helpful.
