for Hypertension some one is taking bisoprolol. He has recently got portal hypertension. Is it necessary to add propranolol to this patient for portal hypertension. If so can propranolol be combined with bisoprolol ?

They are both Beta-Blockers so I would definately seek medical supervision before doing so. Hope this info helps, marjorie zych
