I used Zovirax on my six year old son, he had molluscum contangiousum on his face, under his chin and neck, it was spreading very quickly. I had seen a few doctors , one suggested having them burned off but it still likely spread, another suggested covering them with a non porous tape that would smother the virus, that would have been very difficult to do. A friend gave me a tube of Zovirax and suggested I should try it which I did. It was applied twice daily for about 8 days and it cleared up completely and did not return. I told our doctor about it and he scoffed at me and said that's impossible it's just a coincidence and it probably cleared up on its own. But I believe the Zovirax worked as it cleared up very rapidly.
You can try but I'm not sure if it'll help that much.
