I was recently given a prescription for esomeprazole & I was wondering whether it would be safe to take pseudoephedrine hydrochloride & triprolidine hydrochloride as well, because of allergies that I get somewhat frequently, somewhat unexpectedly. I really need all of those medications but I can't risk dangerous or fatal side effects... please help.
Can I take allergy medicine with heartburn medicine?

esomeprazole ↔ food
Applies to: esomeprazole
ADJUST DOSING INTERVAL: Food may interfere with the absorption of esomeprazole. The manufacturer reports that the area under the concentration-time curve for esomeprazole following a single 40 mg dose was 33% to 53% lower when administered after food intake as opposed to during fasting conditions.
MANAGEMENT: Esomeprazole should be taken at least one hour before meals.
maso.- (both pseudoephedrine & triprolidine are the hydrochloride ones, the HCL just does not appear... ok, but if you type in the med it does come out, for your peace of mind:-)
