Lovenox is a prescription medication approved to prevent and treat blood clots. It is also approved to prevent complications in people who have recently had a heart attack or unstable angina (a type of chest pain that may indicate that a heart attack is imminent).
Drinking is not recommended as it may interfere with the medication or its side effects, since the med is injected for one who has recently had a heart attack or has an unstable angina.
However, please do talk with your doc who prescribed the med. Take care, please.
