Last October I started cabergoline for a 10.3 mm prolactinoma, with prolactin numbers around 500 (normal is <29) I had not menstruated for at least 3 years, with irregular periods for more than 10 years before that. Husband and I were trying to conceive for about 5 years. I started having a period a month after taking cabergoline (15 mg every 3 days), and by January I was pregnant, and im due any day now. Hang in there. The prescription is very effective, very quickly. My endocrinologist took me off the pills after I got pregnant, but they monitor my visual fields every trimester to make sure the prolactinoma isnt growing and compressing the optic nerve, in which case they would restart the prescription. Best of blessings to you!
