Yes, Bystolic gave me acid reflux because I didn’t notice it until I started taking the medication. Bystolic has a lot of unwanted side effects that can potentially harm us. I wish I didn’t have to take any medication.
About one month ago I was put on 5mg of Bystolic. At about the exact same time, I've had severe abdominal pain. Today I put the two together and I'm getting off Bystolic. I hope it gets rid of the abdominal pain. I also am tired, sometimes get dizzy, depression (if I wasn't hurting everyday, I don't think I'd be depressed.)
I didn't experience burping unless I purposely drank some Ginger Ale so I could get rid of the gas/bloat. Burping gives me relief.
Yes, I get the belching as food goes down esophagus- no stomach pain though. But the burping and belching of air is very depressing- no matter if I eat slowly or chew better- I thought it was the little bit of wine I had every night and now off all alcohol- still have the problem- though I feel better. I tried to get down to 25 mg of seroquel from 50 mg but I can t seem to sleep- I can take Mylanta but that is only for short term problems.
Hey risjr7. Yes bystolic causes acid reflux well actually it just makes milder symptoms you already had & may not have even noticed alot worse. My Dr told me to buy over the counter 150mg Ranitidine tablets & take 1 each morning. Walmarts equate brand is a great value for a larger quantity & work good.
